is a family owned and operated business that was founded on the basic principles of honesty, excellence, and integrity. It has always been our goal to offer our customers exceptional services at the best possible price, and we will not settle for less than total customer satisfaction.

Our History
"In the 37 years that my father was president, he had the privilege to work with several great people and on several notable projects. The most prolific project, aside from the several international pavilions/Tennessee Amphitheater in the 1982 World’s Fair, is his contribution to the building of the Twin Towers in New York City. He has contributed and served as a charter member of the City of Knoxville Gas Board. However, he most often reflects on his students and their successes, from when he taught evening classes of sheet metal fabrication at Fulton High School. He is extremely proud that many of his students still hold current positions in the sheet metal industry today.
Henshaw’s, then and now, is dedicated to bringing its customers quality workmanship with excellent customer service. We look forward to servicing our customer’s HVAC requirements and upon completion, hearing them say “Job well done!”

About Us
Henshaw’s was founded in Knoxville, in 1945, by Mr. Jim Henshaw, as a wholesale /small fabrication shop. In 1973, Nick Robinson purchased the company from Mr. Henshaw’s widow. Nick, my father, turned the business into a fabrication and installation business servicing both residential and commercial clients. The original office was in downtown Knoxville until 1981 when we were forced to move to our current location and make room for the 1982 World’s Fair.

Training
On top of the years of schooling, every Henshaw technician must also complete our in-house training program which includes courses in customer service, communication, and practical skills.
